PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow these guidelines before your laser appointment for the best and safest results.

1. A laser consultation and test patch are required before your first laser treatment.

2. Laser sessions should be spaced 4–6 weeks apart for optimal results. Consistent appointments are essential for long-lasting hair reduction.

3. Do not wax, pluck, thread, or bleach the treatment area for at least 4–6 weeks before your appointment. Shaving is allowed and encouraged.

4. Shave the treatment area at least 24 hours before your visit. Do not shave immediately before the session.

5. Avoid Botox, fillers, Dysport, and Kybella injections for 4 weeks before treatment.

6. Stop using retinol, salicylic acid, AHA, and BHA products for at least 1 week prior to your appointment.

7. If you are on Accutane (isotretinoin), you must stop for at least 6 months before treatment.

8. Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for 4 weeks before your appointment. Sun-tanned or burned skin cannot be treated.

9. Inform your technician about any medications you are taking — especially antibiotics or photosensitive medications, as these can increase sensitivity to laser.

10. On the day of treatment, arrive with clean skin — free of makeup, lotion, oil-based products, deodorant, or perfume on the treatment area.

POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Follow these steps after your laser treatment to protect your skin and maximize results.

1. Apply SPF 30 or higher to the treated area daily — this is essential.

2. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 4 weeks after treatment to prevent dark spots and discoloration.

3. Redness, mild swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation are normal and typically subside within a few hours. You may use a cold compress, aloe vera, or hydrocortisone cream if needed.

4. Do not pick, scratch, or scrub the treated area.

5. Avoid chemical peels and harsh exfoliation for 2–3 weeks.

6. Do not apply makeup, lotion, moisturizer, deodorant, or perfume to the treated area for 24 hours.

7. Avoid retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and astringents on the treated area for at least 5 days.

8. No waxing, threading, or plucking between sessions — only shaving is allowed.

9. Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 24 hours (no excessive sweating).

10. Cleanse the treated area gently with a mild, fragrance-free soap.

11. Contact us immediately if you experience unusual reactions, blistering, or prolonged irritation.
